Suvine Jäälill. Aestival Winterflower.

Siit ta tuleb - minu Jäälill õlgadel.

Ehk siis Jäälill suvises võtmes. Puuvillane.

Lõng Wendy Pearl. Kulutasin veidi üle 6 toki. Varras 3,5mm.

Juhin tähelepanu ehetele, mida piltidel kannan! Need on Kriss Põldma sulest.

Here comes my Winterflower on my shoulders.

Cottony and very aestival Winterflower:)
Yarn is Wendy Pearl, used a bit more than 6 sekins. Needles 3,5mm.

I would like to note, that those beautiful delicate jewels I am wearing on those photos, are from Kriss Põldma. You are most welcome to visit her Etsy shop.

Pildistas tütar Loore. Töötlesin ise.
Tänud!

Photos are taken by my daughter Loore, processed by me.

Jäälilled linikuna. Winterflower as a tablecloth.

Kui ma Rowani sellesuvist magasiini sirvisin ning Marie Wallini disainitud Halcyon (nähtav Ravelry kasutajatele) sviitrit silmasin, tekkis tahtmine vana-head-proovitud pitskudet taaskord kududa ning sedakorda, eelpool nimetet kudumist inspireerituna, puuvillasest.
Ma ei saa sinna midagi parata, kuid see muster endiselt lummab mind:)

Siinkohal presenteerin teda laudlinana. Plaanin teda ka õlasallina pildistada.
Niiet sellele kudumile saab osaks 2 postitust.

Lõng Wendy Pearl (75% puuvilla, 25% viskoosi). Olen sellest lõngast kord varemalt kudunud.
Kulutasin 7 tokki. Varras 3,5mm.

Then I was browsing Rowan's this summer's magazine no 47, could'nt help but stopping by Marie Wallin's designed Halcyon sweater (link for Ravelry members). Wanted to try out this lace-pattern by using cotton yarn myself. Cant help, this lace-pattern still fascinates me!

Well, I did'nt go with sweater but presenting my knit as a doily here and now.
I do have also a plan to photograph this piece as a shawl, though:) So, there will another post about it.

Yarn is Wendy Pearl (75% cotton, 25% viscose). I have knitted this yarn once before.
Used 7 skeins. Needles 3.5mm.

Tänud!
Thank you!

Hiielill. Wildwood Flower.

Vardal on muster veel meeles:) Pidin proovima teda ristkülikusse kududa.
Ja sai kohe uhkelt kootud - suurus tuli 210x70cm.
Mõnus - peaaegu et nagu afgaan juba.

Kuna potensiaalne salli omanik soovis miskit väga pehmet ja sooja, siis lõngaks valisin juba tuttava Hjertegarn Exclusive Alpaca. Veimevakast.
Kulutasin uhkelt - 7 tokki. Varras 3,5mm.

As my needles still remember this pattern, I had to try it on rectangular.
And it turned out seriously glorious - size is 210x70cm.

Its just kind of shawl/wrap, what would like to travel! Wrapping yourself in on the airplane or while sitting in the train station; on the warm summer night or sitting front of the fire on the ski trip.
I really hope that it will happen to this piece of knit:)

As it already has a potential owner, who wished something very soft and warm, then I choose Hjertegarn Exclusive Alpaca to use.
Spent whole 7 skeins. Needles 3,5mm.

Tänud!
Thank you!

Antti vest. Jätkuks. Antti's vest. Continued.

See teeb rõõmu!

So, here we go with a vest I knitted twice.
Did'nt dare to say anything before I have seen the Groom vest on. Now I have seen and he seemed to be very pleased.
Its such a joy!
And young couple sent me on my road by saying: It wont be the last time we will turn to you to knit something for us:)
It is such a pleasure if its appreciated what you do!

But about the vest itself - turned out classic cabled piece.
I knitted it out of Hjertegarn Alpaca Silk, 2 ends together, 10 skeins. Needles 3,5mm.
Final result is extremely soft and nicely dense.

Hetkel pildistasin vesti lihtsalt puu peal rippumas, kuid loodetavasti saab mõne kuu möödudes ka näha päris pilte õnnelikust pruutpaarist!

I shot this vest on the hanger now, but hopefully there will be real photos after some time about the newlyweds wearing my knits here to see as well:)

Minu Jupitekk. My blanket by fits.

Ehk on enamikel kudujatel selline projekt vardal.
Peegeldab see vaikselt edenev kudum selgelt minu värvieelistusi.

I suppose most of the knitters have their own "rest" project.
There will always be some leftovers (even skein or two) and also times between two project. You know - then you are finishing one knit and another one is not prepared enough yet to get on needles right away.
So do I have my own "blanket by fits".

As you see, this reflects very clearly my colour preferences. It is right - I do knit in there my most favorites also by material. As it has to become also one of my own favorite knits then its done one day.
I choose very simple way - every yarn gets a circle and ends are knotted together on the edge.
The breadth on my needles is 150cm and we'll see, how much I will grow it to the length.
Will it be a bedspread for my almost-three-year sons bed or a plaid on a sofa or something else.

Anyhow I do enjoy if I do have a knit like this in my yarnbasket and I can take it out and knit a row or two whenever I like to.
It's kind of long-term project for me:)
